Padma Mines and Minerals Corporation (PMMC) is an ISO/TS 16949 certified automobile ancillary part manufacturing company engaged in the field of making Stamping, Forming, deep drawn press components and fabrication of pressed components according to customer requirements Air reservoir tanks in range of 1 litre to 50 litres capacity and purge tank in the range of 3.4 litres to 7.5 litres.
To be one of the best small scale industry catering to multinationals and start exporting our products to various countries.
By improving our product quality by various improvement techniques in house whereby enhancing the life of our components to satisfy the customer to the fullest.
We are contemplating to double our present capacity and to meet customer requirements by providing appropriate QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
The total area of the company is 1.75 acres in which building area is 40000 sq ft and remaining 0.75 is left for further expansion.
The company was founded by Mr.V.Somasundaram in the year 1961 in Medavakkam Chennai.In the beginning we manufactured hospital equipment’s, lubrication oil barrels and later on shifted to manufacturing of stamping, forming, deep drawn press components and in the year 2000 onwards we started manufacturing Air tanks ranging from 1 litre to 50 litres and Purge tank ranging from 3.4 litres to 7.5 litres which was used in OEM trucks in air assisted braking system.
The company was started in the year 1961 by Sri.V.Somasundaram our father in the name of Eastern Ore Corporation. We started manufacturing hospital equipment’s from 1961 to 1963.
From the year 1963 we went as auxillary to M/s. Ashok Leyland, M/s.Sundaram Clayton, M/s. Brakes India Ltd.
In 1969 we expanded our activities for manufacturing lub oil barrels for M/s. Indian Oil Corporation
In 1977 due to various reasons we changed the name to M/s. Padma Mines And Minerals Corporation
In 2000 we started manufacturing Air Reservoirs to M/s. Sundaram Clayton Ltd.
At present adhering to manufacture Deep Drawn Components, Pressed Components and Air Reservoirs.
